In this technique, deep glides are performed while the expectant mother lies on her side or back, as no other position is feasible due to the body’s fragility and the changes it is preparing for. This technique is applied to areas affected by pregnancy, reducing muscular pain and/or fatigue caused by the body’s anatomical changes, as well as hormonal shifts due to the stress and anxiety of the expectant mother.
